Mycosm Keyboard Shortcuts

Hi !
Is there any Keyboard Shortcuts in Mycosm? And can you help me with these shortcuts?

  • Thanks for the question Arindam - yes there are keyboard shortcuts. Some for simple first person view control and others for object placement and authoring... the full list is contained under the Help menu in the Mycosm Reference\Controls Summary section.

    The most often used keys you will find useful are:

    W,A,S,D = move viewing camera Forward, Left, Back, Right respectively
    Q,E = move viewing camera Down, Up respectively

    ` = toggle between local object space and world space
    1 = switch gizmo to movement mode
    2 = switch gizmo to rotation mode
    3 = switch gizmo to scale mode
    ESC = turn off gizmo
    DEL = deletes selected objects

    F = hold mode - to grab currently selected object and hold fixed distance from camera
    F hold = project selected object to ground
    G = Goto selected object
    CTRL + RMB = Open context menu for selected object
    X = Open Property Inspector for selected object
    Z = Open Scene List

    These are some of the most often used basic controls. If you wish to know more or are having difficulty using any of the keys when creating your environment, please ask further.
